En Route(s) & Dollarman

En Route(s) was an assemblage of projects completed and in progress during the CCA Artist in Residence Program between February 6 and May 6, 2003. These projects reflect ideas of identity as they pertain to cultural displacement, migration and movement. Dollarman is a celebration of these ideas in the context of Trinidad and Tobago’s Carnival festival as a space for innovation that is evidenced by the national instrument - the steelpan is the only instrument invented in the 20th century.
