Moko Jumbie Mas Camp
Moko Jumbie Mas Camp is designed for children ages 7-17. The camp celebrates the Afro-Caribbean indigenous stilt dancing practice and traditional Carnival character found throughout the Caribbean. The workshops are geared towards learning the history of the Moko Jumbie, balancing on stilts, leadership training, team building and the communal construction of costumes in a mas camp setting.
Due to Covid-19, the fourth edition planned for the Batabano Cayman Islands Carnival on May 2 & 9th was postponed indefinitely.
