Ministry of Design

The Ministry of Design - From Cottage Industry to State Enterprise colloquium was hosted by the University of the West Indies (UWI) Department of Creative and Festival Arts Visual Arts Unit in Trinidad on May 28-29, 2015. The colloquium gathered creatives from many design fields and papers from around the world. The forum facilitated healthy discussions on implementing design systems and thinking throughout Trinidad and Tobago’s government and society with hopes to ameliorate the challenges faced by 21st century modern living in a Caribbean island nation state.
